September was a month of settling into our new life (with apparently only 2 of my children, according to the pictures I took...)
Karoline got up close and personal with the applesauce.
Family came over to watch football games and play impromptu baseball games in the backyard.Keira hit cross country hard.
I was super impressed with Keira. She decided to try this sport on a whim and ended up doing awesome! The practices were tough and she hurt her leg, but she kept at it anyway. Her first meet was disappointing for her, but she did so well her second meet that we didn't really believe it was her coming to the finish line already. Her goal was to beat her previous time each race, and she did it!
We made messes and found marshmallows at Grandma Law's.
Ed took a trip to Japan with the Reserves and stocked up on all things Japanese that we've been missing. We've enjoyed quite a few amazing Coco's Curry nights thanks to that trip. Mmmmm, this pic makes me hungry.
We had more family over for more BYU football games and enjoyed Maggie snuggles and cousin time.
And that's about it. It was a happy month.

Wow, it's so weird seeing Keira wearing my old middle school jersey! Thankfully they're not the SAME jerseys (it's nice to know they've updated them in the last 20 years...)
Yea for Keira and her cross country drive! It's a tough, often unrewarding sport, but good for you for sticking with it!
